We have been down for a while...building a new motor for the Vette...a 409 small block...should be a few tenths quicker than the 355 we been running...also should be more consistent for bracket racing...hope to test it at Gulfport next week...the 66 Nova we've been building is almost finished...all chassis work is done and body work...we're taking it to Tony Baudier to wrap it this Saturday...all our parts are in for the motor...a 540 big block with Dart C&C ported heads...15.5 to 1 compression...a Bo Laws Alcohol carb that flows 14.14 CFM...we will dyno the engine next week...we're using a Coan converter and trans...so hopefully we can run the car in a few weeks....hopeing for mid to high 8's in Quarter...we will see...trying to have both cars ready to run at the big race at No Problem in Sept...I will enter both cars...boy I hope the heat lets up....bout it for now...
