While I am a huge fan of anything motorozed and/ or goes fast, I rely on my daily driver and all my friends with muscle cars to get my speed fix.
I'm rolling on a 2003 Toyota Tacoma with about 175k miles on it. It has a 3.4L 24 Valve V6 with a TRD supercharger, headers and exhaust. Along with a few other cooling, ignition and intake mods, its a lot of fun. Its really fun when the newer Tacomas get to see my tailights when they least exepct it, but I can't really consider that strong bragging rights. It's like bragging about having the most teeth out of everyone at Waffle House.
In the past I'vs had a 71 Road Runner, 72 Torino, and a 76 Trans Am. My time is coming again soon....
But now I have a 62 Falcon that I will squeeze a 351C into soon. You can see some pics on my profile page, and the build will be showcased on RACE N RIDE!

Since the Camaro's reintroduction a year ago many companies have had their crack at topping the SS (some even with a full warranty), but at long last it was GM's turn. And the General did not let us down. As GM's Ed…

A muscle car is always noticed in Germany :D
I didn´t buy my car like it looks now, it was silver, ugly 17inch wheels, no sound.
Now it is perfect for me. I ordered new chrome wheels at americanmuscle.com.
Then my ride is finished. I´m thinking of selling it and start a new project with
an older car...like Josh Singleton´s car.
Your Falcon looks great too, i saw a 65 FAlcon Drag Racer on a show in Hamburg...DAMN LOUD :D

The first time I ever went to Bonneville was in 1998 for the 50th anniversary. I love it there and I also have a good friend that we crew for at Bonneville. We are actually planning to go there this year too where i'll be a driver in a '32 roadster built by Paul Beck. Maybe I'll see you and Boogie there.

Jim Brindle said… Kory: When I first went on line with your site I noticed you had a question re: the owners of the Biloxi Strip in the early 1960s. Bill and Harvey Walther owned and ran the track during that period. Bill, his wife Midge, and my wife Ann Brindle ran the Tower while Harvey worked the starting line. Incidently, Bill was killed in an oilfield accident overseas in 1970. I owned and drove two Plymouth Hemi's and sometimes drove Jack Coolies "Black Trash" Chevies in match races all over the South. Jack's B.T. Chevies were the fan favorite in those Sat. Nite Races. RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG at the Biloxi Track Jack and I competed against Dyno Don Nicholson, Paul Vanderlay, Emmit Austin, Hayden Proffett, Color Me Gone, Sox and Martin, and Arnie the Farmer Beswick, along with several MOPARS in Baton Rouge. Attached is a picture of my 64 oat Hemi # 43. Incedently, that truck it's on was Jack Coolies car carrier in those days.
